Ok...so now I'm here in Omaha...I finally got a pillow from one of my friends after sleeping on my rolled up Columbia jacket for about 5 nights.  I don't have a bed or a blanket, and am sleeping on a futon.  I'm using the combination of two sweaters and a chinese robe as a blankets.  Food has been sphagetti for the last 4 meals so i think i'm going to switch to mac and cheese tonight.  Hmmm...the place i'm living is kind of nice...but very lonely.  For the last couple of nights i've been looking at my stack of 200 dvds wanting to watch one but can't because i lack the decoder on my computer after it crashed in china .   School has started and i have to finish my med school apps.  I'm trying to get a research job so i don't waste my time up here. 

So right now in my life i don't have internet, TV, a dvd player...and i especially don't have fun.  Right now i'm sitting in the library (well outside the library using their wireless) at 8 o clock on a Sat night.  What a loser...but i guess i have to use the internet some how.  So anyways if any of you have been signing on IM, i wish i could but i can't becuase i don't have any internet AHHHH!!! 

What else is new...i'm hungry...so I'm going to walk back to my apartment now.  Take care guys...miss ya'll. 

I haven't had time to load any new pictures on my computer so I don't have anything from this summer quite yet.  When I do I'll put up a picture of my room and you'll see what kind of life I'm living.   Yes, Delta S is positive...and by the second law of thermodynamics, entropy - which is the measure of disorder, is always constant or increasing.  In layman terms chaos is inevitable...well that's my conclusion anyways...and I already know it's wrong...but it's fitting for the next two weeks of my life.  Chaos can be fun though...we'll just have to wait and find out.  I'll be a little more relaxed in two weeks when I'm back at Creigthon...oh yeah...good ol' Nebraska.  Well that's it for this blog.  Alohaz.

Dude, I just saw this picutre and thought it was kind of funny...we did a lot of stupid things in China...I'm kinda glad I'm still alive...I mean from Inner Mongolia and all we really couldn've died.  This is just a nice reminder of all the fun we had...even though China is a huge tourist trap if you don't know where you're going.  Anyways...thanks Lena for reajusting my smile...it's better than that other cheesy (but very original) other smile that I have. 

So...these are the signs in China...geez...I love the bad spelling...well ok this one really said Shi (as in rock) Tan (as in I don't know that many Chinese characters) and Lane (which is good ol' fashioned English).  Anyways this was a side streeet down Nan Jing road in Shanghai...cool sign...at least when you cover some of the letters...ha ha!
